Finnish media artist Josefina Nelimarkka is visiting DARC and Aarhus University (including the Environmental Media and Aesthetics research program) in May. Nelimarkka’s work on visualisation of environmental data and ambient atmospheres of sensing has been exhibited widely, including in an ongoing show at Amos Rex Helsinki. In Aarhus, she will be meeting local researchers as well as visiting some of the key cultural institutions. Her visit also links thematically with the Design and Aesthetics for Environmental Data project led by Jussi Parikka.
