Literature in Digital Transformation

DARC is represented in several ways at seminar at Dokk1 on April 30th

On April 30th, Dokk1 hosts a seminar on 'Literature in Digital Transformation'.

The seminar includes an exhibition, readings and talks by prominent Danish and international experts on digital literature, including Scott Rettberg and Dan Ringgaard.

DARC is represented in several ways:

  • Winnie Soon's work 'Vocable Code' is shortlisted for "The Public Library Prize for Electronic Literature". Soon will furthermore perform the work live together with Geoff Cox at the seminar.
  • Søren Pold will together with Scott Rettberg introduce the prize and reveal the winner, which Pold as part of the jury has taken part in selecting.
  • The exhibition will include a new version of The Poetry Machine - 'The Oracle from Selphie' - which focuses on the intersection of social media, ancient oracles, horoscopes and current tech-myths. The new version is written and developed by Jakob Fredslund (Alexandra Institute), Søren Pold and Malthe Stavning Erslev.

The event will be in Danish and tickets are required.

The Poetry Machine is originally developed in a collaboration between Roskilde Library and CAVI, Aarhus University
